Gender-affirming care benefits are available to all Hasbro employees and their eligible dependents enrolled in a Hasbro medical plan. Medically necessary services plus additional services are covered. See the Gender-Affirming Care Summary for more details.

You have access to special resources and support with the Transgender Support Center. This center provides lots of information for all phases of your journey. You can access the center by logging into the Aetna website and looking under Health & Wellness. 

Keep in mind, if you work with both a nurse care manager and a Transgender Support Center advocate, they’ll work together to support you throughout your journey.

Contact your Aetna Concierge at 800-843-4965 (TTY: 711) and tell the Concierge you would like to work with an Aetna nurse care manager trained in transgender or gender-affirming care. The Concierge will try to connect you right away.

Pride

A visible, accessible resource for LGBTQIA+ identified employees and allies that provides LGBTQIA+ focused networking, educational and social opportunities for the Hasbro community. Access a specialized clinical nurse for certain situations, including transgender journey, fertility treatments, neonatal intensive care or mental wellbeing. This team of clinical nurse advocates understand the complexities of your health needs and can provide education; answer questions relating to treatment coverage or out-of-pocket costs and claims; offer emotional and wellbeing support; recommend in-network doctors and specialists; guide you through the precertification process; and help you understand and navigate our health benefits. The Aetna Enhanced Maternity Program gives you access to:

• A fertility advocate
• Phone-based genetic counseling and screening, as well as convenient, confidential and cost-effective genetic testing
• A personal nurse if you have health conditions that may affect your pregnancy
• Guidance and support to help you stop smoking
• Helpful information on prenatal care, labor and delivery
• Digital support through the Aetna Maternity Support Center in the Health & Wellness section of your Aetna member website.
