Year after year, Hasbro has been recognized by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption as being one of the 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces. Hasbro’s program is named after our beloved past CEO, Brian Goldner, who was an adoptive parent. He cared deeply about supporting children looking for their forever families and encouraged support of philanthropic efforts focused on children in foster care and adoption programs.

If you work a minimum of 30 hours per week, and have at least one year of service with Hasbro, you’re eligible to receive financial assistance to help offset the cost of adopting or fostering a child.

  • Adoption: Up to $15,000

Hasbro moms and dads who are eligible for benefits can take up to 10 weeks of paid time off after 60 days of employment to care for and bond with their newborns, adopted children or foster children.

The first four weeks are at full base salary, and employees employed for six months or more can take an additional six weeks at 60% of base salary. This is in addition to short-term disability for birth moms. Benefits eligibility is dependent on state law and may vary. Consult your local HR partner to determine whether a variation of this benefit applies to you.
