Spending Accounts

Hasbro offers two spending accounts to help you set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for dependent care and cover commuter travel costs.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) is an account, administered by Businessolver, that helps you set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible dependent care expenses.

  • You will need to make a new DCFSA contribution election* each year – your contribution election doesn’t carry forward from year to year.
  • Contributions are made to the plan through pre-tax payroll deductions.
  • Use your Benefits Debit Visa card from Businessolver to pay for eligible expenses.

Reminder: Make sure you use your funds within the calendar, or you’ll forfeit any unused funds.

*Once you enroll, you can’t change your contribution election unless you have a qualifying life event.

If you’re an active employee and eligible for benefits, you can take advantage of the DCFSA. The plan covers children under age 13 or a qualifying relative/adult dependent.

$100 − $5,000** per household OR $100 − $2,500 if married and filing separate federal tax returns.

**If you are a highly compensated employee by Internal Revenue Service definition ($160,000 for 2025), your maximum contribution to Hasbro’s DCFSA is $2,000. Your spouse may be able to contribute the additional $3,000 to his/her employer’s DCFSA, if available.

Commuter Benefit Account

The Commuter Benefit Account enables you to pay for public transit (including train, subway, bus, ferry or vanpool) as part of your daily commute to and from work. It’s a great way to save pre-tax dollars each month and make your commute more convenient and affordable.

You can contribute up to the IRS monthly pre-tax amount. Your election is divided by the number of pay periods within the election month and dollars are placed directly onto your MyChoice Visa debit card each payday. Your monthly election* carries over each month throughout the calendar year.

You will need to make a new election each year during Annual Open Enrollment.

*The monthly maximum is set by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and is subject to change annually.

When you enroll, you’ll be sent a MyChoice Accounts Visa debit card. Use this card to purchase tickets−funds will be withdrawn from your paycheck pre-tax. Tickets purchased by any other means are not reimbursable.

You also can make a monthly election or change your elections anytime on HasbroBenefitsolver.
